A thriller is usually a mysterious genre which leaves viewers enticed and anticipated ready to be thrilled. Most genres of thriller are some kind of mix with other films, such as horror, mysteries and many have some kind of detective relation.
Illness, and mental problems usually appear in thrillers. Thrillers are normally very physiological and can also be extremely scary, however they do not usually contain gruesome and graphic scenes, thrillers are left to the mind to work out what is going on, which sometimes can be more scary than seeing something straight out, the fact that there is hints and clues, yet we are not told or shown things straight out, is in itself mysterious and thrilling to view.
Certification of thrillers.
Thriller are often 15 certifications, this is because they do not usually contain any horrific and violent scenes, therefore they meet the 15 certification.
